6 Homemade Drinks to cure a Cold Quickly
Cold is a very common problem which every people faces each year. It is typically characterized by coughing, sore throat, sneezing, temperature, running nose and so on.
The person suffering from common cold experiences a constant physical discomfort in the body and often there is dizziness, headache, lack of appetite and lack of energy. Usually, people with less immunity tend to fall sick and the best way to prevent this is, by maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
There are various ways to treat common cold but there are certain natural or alternative ways of dealing with them, which are sometimes more effective than medications. These do not have any side effects.
1) Warm water :
Since, fluids are to be consumed in plenty during this period as there is congestion, the best natural drink would be warm water. An average of 8 to 10 glasses of water should be consumed each day. This shall help to break the congestion.
Also, other fluids like sports drink, green tea and others can be consumed for better effects. However, the consumption of coffee should be limited as the caffeine content shall further dehydrate the body.

Thus, it is always recommended to go for natural remedy in cases of cold, flu and fever. These are more beneficial than antibiotics (which also weaken the body simultaneously) and offer a positive cure. Even if they take longer time or fail to offer a complete cure in a short span, it shall definitely not harm the body or weaken it further.
